What does the trip cost?

Q:

$2000 - this pays for airfare, hotels, entrance fees, van, TWO group meals, YOU will need to pay for “on your own” meals, incidentals, and souvenirs.









Is there financial help available?

Q:

If a participant wants to experience this trip and cannot pay the entire amount, there MAY be stipends available, please ask Joanne.








How Do I sign up?

Is this trip only for adults? Youth?

Q:

This is an “adult” trip, but older youth are welcome if traveling with an adult companion.  


Will I need to share a hotel room?

Q:

Room will be for two - a couple, or room-mates. If you PREFER a solo room, there MAY be an additional fee depending on hotel. Please indicate PRIVATE ROOM on your information form.

What about my specific needs for special meals, room, physical limitations, extras?

Please indicate on registration form what your needs are. Joanne will discuss this with you well before we leave.

How do I meet the other trip participants? How many others will be going?

Q:

Ideally, trip size will be 12-14, although we may include up to 20 and reserve two vans. We will meet on zoom to get acquainted, share information, and answer questions. At this meeting we will review the trip itinerary, hotels, meal plans, etc.

Do I need to prepare before we leave?

Q:

When you register, you will receive a suggested reading list. This will help you to understand the places we will visit. At the start of the trip, you will receive a journal to record your thoughts. Also, there will be end-of-day opportunities to discuss your experience and learning in group time. This is optional, but highly encouraged!!

What if I need to cancel, can I receive a refund for my deposit?

Q:

f you cancel a month before the trip, you may receive your $200 deposit back. At that time (1 month) the full trip payment ($2000) must be paid. Hotels must be reserved and paid for well in advance of the trip, so no refunds can be issued after the 1 month period. Depending on airline, you MAY receive a voucher towards future travel.
